Options

Your Timezone:
Set the desired timezone to display dates and times in.

Units:
Sets the units to be used when height or distance is displayed.

Geographic Coordinates:
Sets the way that geographic coordinates are displayed.

Enable Mouse Scroll:
If set to "Yes", the map will scroll in an out by using the scroll wheel on your mouse.

Show Tracks:
If set to "Yes", track lines will be shown for moving stations. Map refreshes will be slower with this option on.

Show IRLP:
If set to "Yes", IRLP nodes that are within range will be shown.

Show ULS:
If set to "Yes", FCC ULS Amateur Radio operators within range will be displayed based on their FCC ULS addresses. Stations are displayed based on the coordinates of the city that is within your current view. ULS icons will only be cleared when Show ULS is shut off to prevent bogging down the server redrawing the same data on refresh.

Show PHG Circles:
If set to "Yes", Power/Height/Gain/Range (PHG) circles will be displayed for stations that advertise PHG information in their packets. The circles are in opaque red surrounding the station that broadcast the packet.

Show Earthquakes:
If set to "Yes", earthquakes that have occured within the last 48 hours will be displayed. Earthquake icons are displayed differently depeneding on the size and time of the event. The inner image is of a richter scale, the size of the scale is dependent on the size of the quake, large quakes have a large icon, small to medium quakes also have small and medium sized icons respectively. The color of the bottom of the icon indicates the events age; red events have occured within the last hour, orange events have occured in the last 4 hours, yellow events occured within the last day and green events occured over 24 hours ago.

Tactical Callsign Translation:

Tactical callsign translation has been moved to the tools window on the far right side of the page. This feature requires that you have an account and that you are logged in to OpenAPRS before it will begin translating callsigns to tactical calls.

Default Zoom Level:
Sets the default map zoom level.

Station Limit:
Set the maximum number of stations to display at one time.

Track Limit:
Set the maximum number of stations to display at one time. In normal map mode tracks are only displayed from within the last 30 minutes. When tracking a callsign tracks can be displayed up to 24 hours ago.

ULS Limit:
Set the maximum number of ULS stations to display at one time.

To Call (destination):
If specified will filter by destination address. This field is useful for special events where all stations use a unified destination (or TOCALL) address.

NOTE: At high zoom levels OpenAPRS will only display stations heard in the last 5 minutes.
